Onion Salad
Ingredients
- 3 large Spanish onions
- 3 large firm tomatoes
- 4 tbsp French dressing or vinaigrette sauce
Instructions
- Parboil the onions for 30 minutes.
- Leave to cool, then slice as finely as possible.
- Skin and slice the tomatoes.
- Arrange the onions and tomatoes in a salad bowl and pour over the dressing.
- Leave for 1 hour before serving for the flavours to blend.
