Ingredients
 

  • 6 oz grated raw potato
  • 6 oz grated raw carrot
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar superfine granulated
  • 4 oz shredded suet
  • 1 cup self raising self rising flour
  • 3 medium eggs beaten
  • 3/4 tsp grated nutmeg

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly, put into a lightly greased 1.15 litre (2 pt) basin,
  • Cover and steam for 2 1/2 - 3 hours, taking care to top up the steamer with boiling water when necessary.
