Steamed Rich Pudding
Ingredients
- 6 oz grated raw potato
- 6 oz grated raw carrot
- 3/4 cup caster sugar superfine granulated
- 4 oz shredded suet
- 1 cup self raising self rising flour
- 3 medium eggs beaten
- 3/4 tsp grated nutmeg
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly, put into a lightly greased 1.15 litre (2 pt) basin,
- Cover and steam for 2 1/2 - 3 hours, taking care to top up the steamer with boiling water when necessary.
