Spiced French Beans (Tumis Pedas Kacang Panjang)
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 oz chopped shallots
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 oz grated root ginger
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tsp kapi
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 floz peanut oil
- salt
- 2.2 lb French beans
Instructions
- Blend to a paste 3 1/2 oz chopped shallots, 3 cloves of garlic, 2 oz grated root ginger, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 2 tsp kapi, 4 tbsp lemon juice, 4 floz peanut oil and salt.
- Cook the paste for 5 minutes, add 10 1/2 floz water and 2.2 lb French beans. Season with salt, cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes.
