Potatoes Flavoured with Pomegranate Seeds
Ingredients
- 2.2 lb Potatoes boiled, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 cup Pomegranate seeds anar dana, dried, crushed
- 2 3/4 oz Butter
- 1 tbsp Coriander dhaniya powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric haldi powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 6 Green chillies slit
- 1 tbsp Green coriander hara dhaniya, chopped
Instructions
- Heat the butter in a heavy-bottomed pan; add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and half of the pomegranate seeds. Mix thoroughly.
- Add potatoes, salt, and green chillies. Mix gently, so that the spices coat the potatoes evenly. Lower heat and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat.
- Serve hot garnished with green coriander and the remaining pomegranate seeds.
