Aloo Posto (Potato with poppy seeds)
Ingredients
- 7 oz Potatoes diced
- 1/4 cup Poppy seeds khus khus
- 1 floz Mustard sarson oil
- 1 tsp Turmeric haldi powder
- 2 tsp Salt
- 16 floz Water
- 2 tsp Green chillies chopped
Instructions
- Boil the poppy seeds in double the quantity of water; grind to a paste. Keep aside.
- Heat the mustard oil in a wok (kadhai) saute the potatoes for 3 - 4 minutes.
- Add poppy seed paste, turmeric powder, and water. Cook till the potatoes are done.
- Add green chillies and serve immediately.
