Mushrooms with Smetana (Griby v Smetane)
This is a delicious way to eat mushrooms. Serve with smetana, which is a type of sour cream, for an extra touch of richness.
Ingredients
- 2 lb ceps
- 2 floz oil
- 2 1/2 oz chopped onion
- 2 floz oil
- 2 oz chopped dill
- 8 oz smetana
Instructions
- Remove the stalks from 1 kg ceps, cut into quarters and stew in 50 ml oil. Lightly fry 75 g chopped onion and the chopped cep stalks in 50 ml oil, add 50 g chopped dill and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the ceps and 225 g smetana or yogurt and cook together for a further 5 minutes.
