Ingredients
 

  • 6 pork chump chops
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

for the marinade

  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh ginger root
  • 1 tbsp soft brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 5 tbsp dry white wine

Instructions

  • First prepare the marinade by mixing all the ingredients together.
  • Place meat in marinade and marinate for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Remove from marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Cook meat 10 cm (4 inches) under a pre-heated grill for 5 to 7 minutes in total (medium) or 7 to 10 minutes in total (well-done), basting frequently with marinade.
  • Season meat with salt and pepper and serve.
