
Pork Chops with Barbecue Sauce
Try this easy pork chop recipe with barbecue sauce that is sure to be a hit with your family.
Ingredients
- 4 spare rib chops
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tablespoon virgin olive oil
- 3 teaspoons horseradish sauce
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon celery seeds
- 14 oz can chopped tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon malt vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Chop the onion roughly. Heat the oil in a saucepan and saute the onion over a medium heat for 8 minutes until transparent.
- Add all the other sauce ingredients. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, trim any rind and fat from the spare rib chops and place them in an ovenproof dish large enough to hold them in a single layer.
- When ready, spoon the barbecue sauce over the chops, cover and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until thoroughly cooked and tender. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
