Basil and Wine Dressing (Agliata)
Ingredients
- 2 oz white breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp white wine
- 2 finely chopped cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp powdered basil leaves
- 1 tsp chopped parsley
- 10 floz olive oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Soak 2 oz white breadcrumbs in 2 tbsp white wine, then squeeze out. Add 2 finely chopped cloves of garlic, 1 tsp powdered basil leaves and chopped parsley. Gradually blend in 10 floz olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
