
Orange and Pineapple Jelly
Ingredients
- 1/4 pint water
- 1 packet orange jelly
- 7 floz unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1/4 pint natural low-fat yogurt
- orange twists to decorate
Instructions
- Heat the water in a saucepan and add the jelly. Stir until dissolved, then add the pineapple juice. Pour into a bowl and place in the refrigerator until just beginning to set.
- Whisk in the yogurt until well blended, then pour into four glass serving dishes. Leave until set, then decorate with orange twists.
- Instead of a packet of orange jelly, you can use powdered gelatine with equal quantities of unsweetened orange and pineapple juices.
- Vegetarians can use agar in similar proportions as a substitute for gelatine.
