Meen Varathathu (Fish fry)
Ingredients
- 9 oz Fish cleaned, gashed
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper kali mirch powder
- 2 pinches Turmeric haldi powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients (except the fish and oil) with a little water and rub the paste over the fish. Keep aside for an hour.
- Heat the oil in a wok (kadhai); shallow-fry the fish till golden brown. Remove and drain the excess oil on absorbent paper towels. Repeat till all are fried.
- Serve hot.
