Matho (Indian Sweetened yoghurt flavoured with saffron)
Ingredients
- 1.1 lb Yoghurt dahi, hung for 2 hours in a muslin cloth
- 5 oz Sugar ground
- a few strands Saffron kesar, soaked in 1 tsp water, crushed
- 8 - 10 Green cardamom choti elaichi seeds, powdered
Instructions
- Blend yoghurt and sugar together.
- Transfer the yoghurt in a bowl. Add crushed saffron and green cardamom powder. Mix well.
- Serve with hot puri
