Sikarni (Nepalese sweetened yoghurt)
Ingredients
- 1.1 lb Yoghurt dahi, hung
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon dalchin! powder
- 1/2 tsp Green cardamom choti elaichi seeds, ground
- 1 tbsp Almonds-pistachios badaam-pista, peeled, finely sliced
- 1 tbsp Raisins kishmish
Instructions
- Transfer the yoghurt to a bowl and add sugar. Mix well until the sugar gets dissolved.
- Mix in the cinnamon and cardamom powders. Chill thoroughly and serve in separate bowls with the dry fruits on top.
- Note: This is a kind of Shrikhand but different in taste. If desired, you can add a little chopped fruit (orange, banana, mango, etc.)
