Ingredients
 

  • 7 oz Wholewheat flour atta
  • 3/4 tsp Cumin jeera seeds, roasted, coarsely powdered
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Mango powder amchur
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 3 1/2 oz Yoghurt dahi, fresh, thick
  • 3 1/2 floz Milk
  • 5 tsp Vegetable oil for the dough
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • Mix all the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
  • Pour yoghurt, milk, and oil; knead to a smooth dough. Keep the dough covered for 3 - 4 hours.
  • Divide the dough equally into 4 - 5 portions. Roll each portion out into a thick disc.
  • Heat a griddle (tawa); lay the disc flat on it and fry on both sides till light brown. Remove and repeat till all are fried.
