Ingredients
 

  • 1.1 lb Bananas ripe, chopped lengthwise into 4 pieces
  • 2 oz. Rice flour
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • Mix the rice flour, sugar, Baking powder, and water together into a smooth batter.
  • Heat the oil in a wok (kadhai); dip the banana in the batter and deep-fry, one at a time, till golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain the excess oil on absorbent paper towels. Repeat till all the bananas are fried.
  • Serve hot.
