Ginger Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 6 pork chump chops
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
for the marinade
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh ginger root
- 1 tbsp soft brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 5 tbsp dry white wine
Instructions
- First prepare the marinade by mixing all the ingredients together.
- Place meat in marinade and marinate for 3 to 4 hours.
- Remove from marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
- Cook meat 10 cm (4 inches) under a pre-heated grill for 5 to 7 minutes in total (medium) or 7 to 10 minutes in total (well-done), basting frequently with marinade.
- Season meat with salt and pepper and serve.
