Cheese Pancake Fritters (Nalesnikis)
Ingredients
- 9 oz pressed curd cheese
- 9 oz butter
- 1 beaten egg
- seasoning
- small pancakes
- yeast batter
Instructions
- Mix together 9 oz each of pressed curd cheese and butter with 1 beaten egg and seasoning; mould into 1 oz squares, wrap each in a small pancake, forming them square, dip into yeast batter and deep fry until crisp and golden.
