Double Banana Split
Ingredients
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 6 bananas
- 2 oz chopped walnuts
for the decoration
- 4 floz double cream heavy cream
- sugar
- 6 maraschino cherries
Instructions
- Split the bananas in half lengthways and place in small oval dishes.
- Place 2 small scoops or slices of ice cream between the banana halves.
- Coat the ice cream with Melba sauce, and sprinkle with the chopped nuts.
- Whip the cream until stiff and sweeten to taste. Decorate with the cream and cherries.
