Ingredients
 

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 6 bananas
  • 2 oz chopped walnuts

for the decoration

  • 4 floz double cream heavy cream
  • sugar
  • 6 maraschino cherries

Instructions

  • Split the bananas in half lengthways and place in small oval dishes.
  • Place 2 small scoops or slices of ice cream between the banana halves.
  • Coat the ice cream with Melba sauce, and sprinkle with the chopped nuts.
  • Whip the cream until stiff and sweeten to taste. Decorate with the cream and cherries.
