  • 4 large slices wholemeal bread
  • 2 oz low-fat soft cheese
  • 1 medium eating apple washed
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 7 oz can tuna in brine drained
  • 2 spring onions trimmed and chopped
  • 1 stick celery with leaves washed, trimmed and chopped


  • Spread the bread with the low-fat soft cheese.
  • Core the apple and chop finely, toss in the lemon juice and mix into the tuna with the spring onions and celery. Pile onto the bread and serve.
