Straw Potatoes
Instructions
- Cut the potatoes into thin, even sized straws 6mm (1/4 in) wide by 5cm (2in) long.
- Wash in cold water and dry thoroughly with a clean tea towel.
- Place a small quantity at a time in a chip basket and deep fry until crisp and golden in colour.
- Remove from fat or oil and drain.
- Sprinkle with salt and serve.
