Stewed Cherries with Wine Sauce
This dish will be prepared with cherries that are stewed in wine, sugar, and mint liqueur.
Ingredients
- 1 lb stewed cherries
- 1 egg plus 2 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons mint liqueur
- 5 tablespoons Marsala wine
Instructions
- Chill the cherries in 4 bowls.
- Whisk the remaining ingredients together in a bowl over a saucepan of hot water until creamy.
- Transfer the bowl to ice-cold water and stir until cold. Pour the sauce over the cherries.
