
Spicy Cabbage
Ingredients
- 2 oz margarine
- 1/2 tsp white cumin seeds
- 8 dried red chillies to taste
- 1 small onion sliced
- 8 oz cabbage shredded
- 2 carrots grated
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Melt the margarine in a saucepan and fry the white cumin seeds and dried red chillies for about 30 seconds.
- Add the sliced onion and fry for about 2 minutes. Add the cabbage and carrots and stir-fry for a further 5 minutes until the cabbage is soft.
- Finally, stir in the salt and lemon juice and serve.
