Ingredients
 

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion peeled and very finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic peeled and crushed
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • large pinch cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 5 floz tomato juice
  • 8 oz mixed sprouted beans chick, mung, aduki
  • 1 oz flaked almonds toasted

to serve:

  • soft bread or chapattis

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and garlic and cook gently for 5 minutes without colouring.
  • Add the garam masala, cumin seeds, cayenne pepper and ground black pepper. Fry for another 4 minutes.
  • Add the lemon juice, tomato juice and sprouted beans. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in almonds and serve hot with soft bread or chapattis.
