  • 5 Corn bhutta corbs, tender, grated
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds rai
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin jeera seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida hing
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 Juice of lemon nimbu
  • 1 tbsp Green coriander hara dhaniya, chopped


  • Heat the oil in a pan; add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, and green chillies. Saute till the seeds crackle. Add the corn and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add just enough water to cover the corn. Add sugar and salt. Cover and simmer till the corn is tender.
  • Add lemon juice and mix well.
  • Serve hot garnished with green coriander.
