  • 1 cup Lotus seeds makhane
  • 8 floz Water
  • 4 1/3 pint Milk
  • 5 oz Sugar


  • Boil the lotus seeds in the water. Let them simmer for half an hour. Drain and keep aside.
  • Boil the milk in a wok (kadhai). Simmer for half an hour or till it becomes thick.
  • Add lotus seeds and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the sugar and cook till it dissolves completely. Remove from heat and pour into a serving dish.
  • Serve chilled.


Can also be served hot.
