Makhane Ki Kheer (Sweet thickened milk with lotus seeds)
Instructions
- Boil the lotus seeds in the water. Let them simmer for half an hour. Drain and keep aside.
- Boil the milk in a wok (kadhai). Simmer for half an hour or till it becomes thick.
- Add lotus seeds and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the sugar and cook till it dissolves completely. Remove from heat and pour into a serving dish.
- Serve chilled.
