  • 6 Corn bhutta on corb, fresh, tender, peeled
  • Butter optional
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 Lemon nimbu, halved


  • Place the corn directly on the fire. Keep rotating it so that it cooks evenly. Remove when brown.
  • Smear with butter, salt, and red chilli powder and rub the lemon over it.
  • Serve warm.


The best result is obtained by cooking the corn on embers of charcoal fire or the barbecue.
