Aloo Ki Khatti Tarkari (Easy-to-make potato dish)
Ingredients
- 9 oz Potatoes boiled, mashed roughly
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- a pinch Asafoetida hing
- 1 Ginger adrak, 1 inch piece, julienned
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric haldi powder
- 1 tsp Coriander dhaniya powder
- 1 tsp Cumin jeera powder
- 8 floz Tomato puree fresh
- Salt to taste
- 2 Green chillies
- 3 Dry red chillies sookhi lal mirch
Instructions
- Heat the oil in the pan; add asafoetida, ginger, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder. Saute for a while.
- Add the potatoes and saute for 1 minute. Add tomato puree, salt, and green chillies. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with dry red chillies and serve with bharvin puri or khasta kachori
