Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

ingredients

1 kg (2 lb) potatoes, peeled
1 medium onion, peeled and quartered
100 g (4 oz) Cheddar cheese
25 g (1 oz) butter
salt and pepper
1 size 3 egg
250 ml (1/2 pint) milk

method

1. Slice the potatoes.

2. Grate the onion and cheese.

3. Arrange the potato slices in a well buttered, shallow ovenproof dish and sprinkle each layer with onion, cheese and salt and pepper. Finish with a thick layer of cheese and dot with butter.

4. Beat the egg and milk together and pour carefully over the potatoes.

5. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 180°C, 350°F, Gas No. 4 for 1 1/2 hours or until the potatoes are cooked and the topping is golden.

This recipe is poor, i tried it the other night, and if im honest it was the worst food ive ever tasted. This is my opinion.

Well i diagree with u there u just ant a good cook ^^ sorry to break it too u .
and i tried my own and i think it was lovely <3
