Ingredients
 

  • 1 tsp panch phora
  • 4 tbsp oil or ghee
  • 2 1/2 oz chopped onion
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • salt
  • 2.2 lb okras

Instructions

  • Lightly fry 1 tsp panch phora in 4 tbsp oil or ghee.
  • Add and golden fry 2 1/2 oz chopped onion, then add 1 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala and salt.
  • Add 2.2 lb okras, cover with a lid and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Season to taste and serve in a vegetable dish.
