Macchi Ka Salan (Fish fillet treat)
Ingredients
- 3.3 lb Fish fillets round
Mix together and marinate the fish for 30 minutes:
- 2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 2 tsp Green chilli paste
- 2 tsp Garlic lasan paste
- 2 tsp Ginger adrak paste
- 3 tbsp Mint pudina paste
- 3 tsp Coriander dhaniya powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric haldi powder
- 5 oz Ghee / Vegetable oil
- 9 oz Onions chopped
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat the ghee / oil in a large frying pan; add onions and saute until light brown in colour.
- Add the marinated fish fillets. Reduce heat and add 1/2 a cup of warm water and salt. Cook, stirring carefully, taking care that the fish pieces do not break. Cook until the fish is tender and the gravy is thick.
