Chocolate Chip Cookies #2
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter softened (1 stick)
- 6 Tbsp white sugar
- 6 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 6 oz chocolate chips.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°f (190°c) gas mark 5
- Into a small bowl, sift the flour, salt and baking soda and mix well
- in another bowl mix the white and brown sugar with the butter, add the egg and vanilla extract and mix untill smooth.
- mix the flour mixture with the sugar mixture, Mix in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoon of the mixture onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Stand for 2 minutes, then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
