
Cannellini Bean Pate
Ingredients
- 14 oz can of cannellini beans rinsed and drained
- 5 1/2 oz low fat soft cheese
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 3 tablespoons low fat mayonnaise
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Place the cannellini beans in a food processor with the low fat soft cheese, garlic, mayonnaise and seasoning. Blend until smooth.
- Transfer the pate to a bowl, cover and chill for 2 hours before serving.
- try this: Canned beans make the perfect base for vegetarian pates.Try using butter beans instead of cannellini beans.
