Ingredients
 

  • 14 oz can of cannellini beans rinsed and drained
  • 5 1/2 oz low fat soft cheese
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 3 tablespoons low fat mayonnaise
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Place the cannellini beans in a food processor with the low fat soft cheese, garlic, mayonnaise and seasoning. Blend until smooth.
  • Transfer the pate to a bowl, cover and chill for 2 hours before serving.
  • try this: Canned beans make the perfect base for vegetarian pates.Try using butter beans instead of cannellini beans.
