
Barbecued haddock
The perfect recipe for a summertime BBQ. Get the taste of the sea and grill up some delicious, tender haddock right on your barbecue.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp Oil
- 1 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Soft brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Tomato puree
- 1 lb Smoked haddock
Instructions
- Mix together oil, lemon juice, sugar, chilli powder, Worcestershire sauce and tomato puree in a shallow dish. Add the haddock, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning fish once or twice. Preheat the grill.
- Remove fish from marinade and place on a large piece of foil on the grill pan. Grill for 5-7 minutes on each side, brushing with marinade from time to time.
- Alternatively, place the fish in a fish holder and barbecue over charcoal.
