Vegetables In Orange Juice
Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots
- 1 lb turnips
- 1 lb sweet potatoes
- 1 lb parsnips
- 1 lb baby onions
- 2 1/2 pints orange juice
- 2 tsp cornflour
Instructions
- Peel and chop vegetables. Simmer in orange juice until tender. Drain and place them in a dish.
- Dissolve the cornflour in a little of the cooking liquid, then stir into remainder.
- Cook until thickened slightly. Pour over the vegetables and serve.
