
Veal and Garlic Cheese Rolls
This recipe is a great appetizer for any occasion - or snack. It features braised veal, garlic, and cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 veal escalopes each weighing 4 oz
- 2 small cloves garlic crushed
- 8 oz low fat soft cheese
- Small bunch chives chopped
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika optional
Instructions
- Flatten the veal escalopes between 2 sheets of greaseproof paper using a rolling pin and taking care to keep each escalope in one piece. Set aside.
- Combine the garlic, cheese and chives together and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread a quarter of the mixture over each of the veal escalopes and roll up like a Swiss roll. Sprinkle with paprika if desired.
- Arrange in a circle in a dish and cook, uncovered, on HIGH for 8 - 10 minutes. Serve immediately
