  • 3 cups Cooked rice
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin jeera seeds
  • 3 Cloves hung
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger powder sonth
  • 4 Eggs optional


  • Heat the oil in a deep pan; add cumin seeds and cloves; saute for a few seconds.
  • Mix red chilli powder in a few spoons of water and add to the pan. Stir, and then quickly add the cooked rice.
  • Mix well and cook on low heat. Mix in salt and ginger powder. When the rice is heated through, transfer to a serving dish.
  • Fry the eggs and then garnish the rice with them.
