Potted Shrimps
Ingredients
- 7 oz butter
- 1.8 lb picked grey shrimps
- a pinch of each of ground mace grated nutmeg, white pepper, cayenne pepper and salt
Instructions
- Melt 7 oz butter and allow to cool.
- Mix in 1.8 lb picked grey shrimps, a pinch of each of ground mace, grated nutmeg, white pepper, cayenne pepper and salt.
- Fill into individual moulds or dishes, cover with melted butter and keep in a refrigerator.
- To serve, demould or place on a dish with a leaf of lettuce, a segment of lemon and brown bread and butter.
