  • 3 1/2 lb diced beef
  • 3 1/2 lb diced pork
  • 3 1/2 lb diced chicken
  • 4 1/2 oz turned carrots
  • 4 1/2 oz turned turnips
  • 4 1/2 oz turned potatoes
  • quarters of cabbage


  • Boil 1.5 kg diced beef, pork and chicken in water in that order, with 125 g each of turned carrots, turnips and potatoes and quarters of cabbage, also in that order.
  • Serve the meats with the vegetables in an earthenware mar-mite moistened with the cooking liquor and garnished with sliced chorizo sausage, accompanied by boiled rice.
