Baked Liver Patties
Ingredients
- 1 lb liver
- 1 onion finely chopped
- pinch grated nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 tbsp plain flour All purpose
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 caul fat
Instructions
- Place liver in boiling water for 1 minute and remove membrane.
- Shred liver with a fork. Add all ingredients except caul, fat to liver and mix well.
- Spoon liver mixture onto caul fat, fold over and secure with cocktail sticks.
- Place in ovenproof dish and bake at 160°C (325°F) gas 3 for 1 hour or until cooked.
