This recipe for baked fillets of bream and cod is a great standalone dish or as an accompaniment to other fish or meat dishes.

Ingredients
 

  • fillet each of cod and bream per person
  • chopped onion
  • diced tomato flesh and red pimento and chopped garlic
  • white wine
  • bayleaf
  • few strands of saffron

Instructions

  • Fry chopped onion in oil then add diced tomato flesh and red pimento and chopped garlic, moisten with white wine and add a bayleaf and a few strands of saffron.
  • Place a fillet each of cod and bream per person in a shallow dish, moisten with the prepared liquid and bake, basting occasionally at 180°C for 15 minutes.
