Ingredients
 

  • 28 oz Tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 4 Cinnamon dalchini, 1 inch sticks
  • 6 Cloves laung
  • 2 Bay leaves tej patta
  • 4 Green cardamom choti elaichi
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger adrak, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Garlic lasan, chopped
  • 32 floz Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper kali mirch powder to taste
  • 2 floz Cream

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a deep pan; add the whole spices and saute till they crackle.
  • Add the tomatoes, ginger, garlic, and water. Bring the mixture to the boil and cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and mash the tomatoes. Strain the liquid through a soup strainer into another pan. Discard the tomato pulp.
  • Heat the soup, adjust the seasoning and remove from heat. Stir in the cream and serve hot.
