
Pea Rice
Ingredients
- 10 oz Japanese rice or short grain rice
- 5 oz frozen peas
- 3 tbsps sake
Instructions
- Place rice in a saucepan with 16 fl oz (480 ml) water and a pinch of salt and bring to boil.
- Gently simmer, covered, for 3 minutes, add peas and cook for a further 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes, stir in sake and turn into individual bowls.
