  • 7 oz Goa sausage meat chouri§o
  • 1 Onion large, thickly sliced
  • Vinegar sirka to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 8 Small loaves of bread


  • Slit the casing of the sausages, and remove the meat. Cook in a pan with 1 cup water for 15 minutes or till the meat is cooked and the mixture is dry. Drain the excess fat.
  • Add the onion and cook for 3 minutes more, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning and add vinegar and salt if necessary.
  • Slit the loaves and fill with the sausage meat. Serve at once.
