Pao com Chourico (Goa sausage rolls)
Ingredients
- 7 oz Goa sausage meat chouri§o
- 1 Onion large, thickly sliced
- Vinegar sirka to taste
- Salt to taste
- 8 Small loaves of bread
Instructions
- Slit the casing of the sausages, and remove the meat. Cook in a pan with 1 cup water for 15 minutes or till the meat is cooked and the mixture is dry. Drain the excess fat.
- Add the onion and cook for 3 minutes more, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning and add vinegar and salt if necessary.
- Slit the loaves and fill with the sausage meat. Serve at once.
