Garlic Sauce
This recipe for garlic sauce is one of our family's favorites. It's great on meatballs, tossed with pasta, mixed with mayonnaise for a tasty sandwich spread or served alongside grilled vegetables.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp snipped chives
- 5 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 floz dry white wine
- 8 floz single cream
Instructions
- Saute chives and garlic in heated butter in a heavy-based saucepan.
- Add wine and boil until sauce thickens.
- Stir in cream and heat through.
