Bean Sprout Salad
Ingredients
- 8 3/4 oz bean sprouts
- 3 1/2 oz Chinese leaves
- 2 sticks celery
- 1 small orange
- 3 tbsp French dressing or vinaigrette sauce
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Pick over the bean sprouts, wash well, and dry thoroughly.
- Shred the Chinese leaves and chop the celery finely.
- Peel the orange, discarding all the white pith.
- Cut into slices, then cut each slice across into quarters.
- Put the sprouts, cabbage, celery, and orange into a bowl.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss lightly. Season to taste.
