Aduki Bean And Onion Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic crushed (optional)
- 1 tablespoon oil optional
- 1/2 lb cooked aduki beans
- Sea salt to taste
Instructions
- Simmer or saute the chopped onion and the crushed garlic, if used, until tender.
- Add to the beans, blend or sieve and season to taste.
- Serve hot as a sauce with brown rice and vegetables.
- Alternatively, simmer for a few minutes more to thicken and use as a vegetable spread on brown toast, garnished with chopped spring onions or parsley.
