Ingredients
 

  • 8 oz chopped onion
  • 2 floz oil
  • 12 oz minced beef
  • 1 pint brown stock
  • seasoning
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 7 1/2 floz pomegranate juice
  • 1 oz sugar
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Golden fry 8 oz chopped onion in 2 floz oil, add 12 oz minced beef, 1 pint brown stock, seasoning, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp allspice.
  • Simmer until the liquid has evaporated. Skim off any fat and moisten with 7 1/2 floz pomegranate juice, 1 oz sugar and 4 tbsp lemon juice.
  • Serve with roast pork or veal.
