
Smoky Cheese and Prawn Dip
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz butter
- 1 shallot finely chopped
- 6 oz Cheddar cheese grated
- 4 oz smoked or smoky cheese grated
- 1/2 oz plain flour
- 6 floz single cream
- Salt and pepper
- 4 oz cooked prawns chopped
- Raw vegetables
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a small, deep bowl for 30 seconds on HIGH.
- Add the shallot and cook for 1 minute on HIGH to soften.
- Toss the cheeses and flour together and add to the bowl with the shallot. Stir in the cream, salt and pepper.
- Cook for 4 minutes on MEDIUM or until the cheese has melted. Stir the mixture twice whilst cooking. Stir in the prawns.
- Serve hot with raw vegetables for dipping.
