Orange Shortbread
Ingredients
- 5 oz wholemeal flour
- 1 oz rice flour
- 1 oz molasses sugar
- 4 oz polyunsaturated margarine
- grated rind of 1 orange
Instructions
- Mix the flours the grated rind of 1 orange and sugar together in a bowl. Rub the margarine into the mixture and knead to form a soft dough.
- Roll out to 1/4 inch (5 mm) thick and cut into 2 inch (5 cm) squares.
- Mark with the back of a knife to form pattern. Bake for 30 minutes at Mark 3 (160°C) 325°F.
